F.A.Q.

WELCOME TO TAKEMYTICKETS.COM

Buyers & Sellers F.A.Q.

Q. How does the Pricing work?
A. If you are buying tickets, a service charge of 7% is added at checkout, which is less than the 10% you see with other corporate providers.  If you are selling tickets, we PayPal you a net percentage of 90% of your list price, more than the 85% that you get from corporate providers.

We are a small business based in Ohio and we can pay you more because we don't spend boatloads of money on TV, radio, and print advertising like the big businesses do.  Nor, do we answer to shareholders that are always demanding higher profits.

OUR EXAMPLE: 4 Tickets sold at $100 each ($400 List Price).         Seller's Net Payment Received = $360                                                          Buyer's Payment = $428($32 Savings--Tickets picked up at Store)

"THEIR" EXAMPLE: 4 Tickets sold at $100 each ($400 List).                   Seller's Net Payment Received = $340

Buyer's Payment = $460 (Includes Corporate-California-site's average $20 FedEx, i.e $440 + $20 = $460)

As you can see, both Seller and Buyer make out much better, especially when the store is used as a dropoff location. (We can also pickup and deliver at times)  Once you start multiplying these numbers by multiple transactions and higher end seats, the savings can be enormous.

Q. What if I am interested in an event I don't see on the website?
A.  Please call our store at 513.492.7478.  We provide tickets for all events in the USA.  Our initial intent is to use this website for regional major sporting events. Most every other website that you encounter shows thousands of tickets to hundreds of events.  What you are viewing on these sites are tickets listed by every broker in the country as if they are owned by the website you are viewing.  They use a feed to display all broker tickets with a second markup on top of the initial broker's markup.

Q: How do I ZOOM in on the Venue Seating Chart?
A. Hold down the CTRL button and hit the + sign on your computer to zoom in using your browser.  Use the - sign to zoom back out.

Q. How do these tickets differ from face value?
A. The seller determines the list price based on what they feel fair market value is at the time.  Supply and demand is what dictates sale prices.  Events, with many potential buyers and few sellers, will drive prices up.  Tickets for an event with many sellers and few buyers will often sell below face value.  Season ticket holders, for example, will typically sell tickets late in a season if their team is out of contention.  In years that their team is in contention, they look to recoup more of their investment because their is a stronger demand for buyers to want to sit in great seats.

Q. How can I make my tickets more attractive to a buyer?
A. Offer store pickup as a delivery option, if there is sufficient time before the event.  If a buyer wants to save the Priority Shipment charges by taking you up on your store pickup option, we will contact you to let you know you need to drop your tickets off at the store.  This gives the Buyer more money to buy your tickets.  You should also research your event to determine demand and what fair market value is in relation to your seats.

Q. Where are you located?
A. 5534 Kings Mills Rd. (Ohio State Route 741) in Mason, Ohio 45040. We are right off of Exit 25 on I-71 in the Ameristop Plaza by Burger King and the entrance to the Beach Waterpark.  We are conveniently located for those that like to do business in person.
